8 Yard Dress Gordon kilt
This product is currently unavailable
Our traditional made kilt in the Dress Gordon tartan is predominantly light green and blue shot through with bands of yellow and white, this is an adaptation of the Black Watch tartan. The name Gordon is territorial and the family who took the name are believed to have been of Anglo-Norman descent, first recorded in Berwickshire in the 12th century. The Gordon Clan then moved from the Borders to Aberdeenshire and the home of the Gordon Clan Chief is Aboyne Castle in Aberdeenshire. This is one of the royal kilts allowed by tradition to be worn by people outside of Scotland.
